Peter Kubik, *1979, was already from early childhood on an active choir singer. He first studied music education (Schulmusik) at the University of Music and Drama in Hamburg, where he received singing lessons from Prof. Verena Rauchschnabel. During his time in Hamburg he made his first experiences on the opera stage with the extra choir of the Hamburger Staatsoper and was a member of the prize winning chamber choir "ensemble vocal" lead by Cornelius Trantow.
In 2004 he started to study singing as his major at the school of music in Cologne with Prof. Arthur Janzen, which he is continuing since fall 2006 at the school of music in Hannover with Prof. Peter-Anton Ling.
Extended travels with the "Kölner Kammerchor" under Peter Neumann and the "Chorus Musicus" under Christoph Spering lead him, amongst others, into the concert halls of Lisbon, Nantes, Cologne and Amsterdam.
