“Philharmonisches Kammerorchester Wernigerode” and the “Staatstheater Darmstadt”, he has been 2nd Oboist and Cor Anglais at the “Anhaltische Philharmonie Dessau” from 2002 until 2005 and after that joined the “Gewandhausorchester Leipzig” from 2005 to 2006 as Principal Cor Anglais. He has been to the German-Scandinavian Music Week on Scheersberg many times as a participant of the orchestra.
Tobias is a member of several well-established chamber music ensembles, such as the “Concento Woodwindquintet” and the “Quartett O-Ton”, and also performs regularly as Solo-Oboist with the “Basel Festival Orchestra”. In 2007 he instructed the woodwind section of the Arctic Youth Symphony Orchestra (AYSO) in Harstad/Norway.
